jtc is a phenomenon. one alias of the multi-talented tadd mullinix. one part of a mind that also houses dabrye, sk-1, charles manier, and halves of tnt, 2am/fm and x2. this time round, on park days, he flexes a house side that has not been seen too often in his career of 13 years. whether the driving groove of south brooks, the late night drum machine jam of argo, creals ever evolving scatter, or the delicate gallup, park days is one of those records where everyone has a different favourite. ie - a good one. we are honoured to release this mans music. a man that continually remains out of the spotlight, yet is revered by your favourite producers for at least one of his many aliases. a man that ignores trends, hype, trickery, and just returns every now and again to nudge that bar a little bit higher than he left it last.

tieffrequent is a young berlin-based vinyl label which follows the idea and the wish to bring warm and deep sounds to you and your friends. it does not want to reproduce a hype or a mainstream-sound but more wants to give artists and friends a platform to get in contact about music and creativity. the first tieffrequent release is a various artist 4 tracker that gives us a little preview of what might follow in the nearer future on the label.

easily recognizable by his impassioned johnny cash-meets-charlie feathers vocals, the french-born don cavalli began to get any notice in the greater music and blog community when he released his full-length *cryland* (2007), which featured his amalgamation of swamp blues, lo-fi pop, country gospel, and early rock & roll. in 2013, don cavalli will release his new studio album *temperamental*, staying on blues track while dismantling the traditional codes of the field. indeed, thanks to an old fashioned sound take and a contemporary production, don cavalli makes his new album sound old but incredibly modern. and if *temperamental* goes through many kinds of sounds, in the end it always goes straight to the point: a unique cajun blues from the bayou serving a soul and sophisticated voice. a must-have!

mule musiq now proudly presents eleven unreleased compositions by roedelius produced between 1990 and 2001. all of them are pearls of electronic deepness that show another side of the man that lives in the little lower austrian town baden. his famouse ultra sweet piano melodies can be heard – but they are not the centre of the productions. instead a more electronic side of his genius call the tune. with a minimalistic approach he let synth melodies highfly while some droney, melancholic atmospheres enlarge in the background.

nice price deal !!! every once in a while a particular record will land in our laps which we have very little information on but usually somebody will unearth its origins after a bit of homework and more often than not it turns out to be a relatively well-known producer operating under a new and secret pseudonym. what we are looking at here however, seems to be quite the enigma. one can only speculate as to who watkins & almadovar might be.

macchina nera an mysterious alpine character already gave a guest appearance at pam 15.5 besides the label boss anette party. now it is his turn to rev up. and you just hold his debut ep in your hand.
here the super chef mixes up what came under his nose in the last decades. house tunes, a sirens voice that even would have made good old sylvester jealous together with an ass moving groove that bring every epic-o-meter to explosion. the essence unveils the pure sou of this exceptional talent. full of love turned it all pastamusik co-workers to little creatures floating through the office on hand made hearts. macchina nera is a well known old stager in his hometown who represents the munich lifestyle and joy as (almost) no other. but – this is only the beginning. s o o n we wll be back to release a of full album of this gem-artist as well as a number of remixes suitable for all (s) ex positions. remember his name!

bandshell makes music akin to impenetrably complex puzzles. with a rhythmically intricate style both coarse & strikingly individual his curious constructions have seemingly little regard for the constraints of the dance floor. the second track on the ep, *perc*, is featured on ben ufos fabriclive 67.

there it is, keinemusik number seventeen. we know what you are thinking. you think you know how it works. you think, those keinemusik fellas will again be doing their little rotation thing, one producer getting a record out after the other, then a workparty-joint venture at some point and then it starts all over again. au contraire! this seventeenth edition is breaking the known beautiful, perfectly curled cycle. just like that, so that no one gets bored. this record here is an appetizer for a collaboration-effort between rampa, &me and nomi, the new york based singer that provided the recent movement of flamboyant disco-queerness with its sexiest and catchiest hooks, teaming up with hercules & love affair and doing her own project jessica 6. side b will take care of everyone who is expecting a safe playing house-rehash of the afore mentioned acts and tenderly let a lashing snare slap every preconception out of sceptic faces.

delsins house series is back once again, this time with mysterious producer low jack about who very little is known. he has released but one ep so far, an ep that was both ballsy and techno and deeper and mid tempo. his free pyjamas ep is house, of course, but thick, dense, gauzy textures fill every inch of the airwaves throughout.

after alec troniqs glorious 2012 strikes like pimpernuckel and rueffel ep and prosperous remixes for leesa or kanzler & wischnewski, he roughs up the club season with yet another super-creative bunch of dance floor tracks. with fluffernutter our pastry chef created a scuzzy mix of sweeties.and everyone can sing is a slow and muddy pounding house smacker.xanthippe is a cheering singsong tune for a little less conversation but a little more action on the parquets. this fluffernutter ep unmistakably pushes to movement.

new music from the swedish junkyard guys. mr tophat and art alfie delivering two modern house jackers with a little touch of that nordic touch that aways seem to balance things and bring some open space in the music.

knox is the band brainchild of brother-sister duo nic and eliza coolidge. hailing from boston and new york, the siblings released their second ep, here, on december 3rd, and it is a big step forward for the band. formed less than two years ago, in march 2011, knox finds themselves working with the likes of john tejada and kuxxan suum on this release, and the outcome is stunning. here is five-song set full of ice and echoes. it runs as close to the third rail of impersonation, but flies away so quickly that knox sounds contextual and perfectly fresh. the influences from james blake is clear: the swooping, bomber bass and half-timey compressed dub beats, here could also easily be an inventive b-side to the latest how to dress well album. but, with the limited scale, interspersed remixes and foundling status in the scene, i would say it is likely a more impressive feat. the ep as a whole is desolate. expansive spaces filled with cold little beats and vocal washes, exploring in the course of five songs an icescape aesthetic with a sense of place usually reserved for full-length albums. the remixes blend so seamlessly that i didnt even realize they were during my first, casual listen.

enzinos is a little new label from a little old guy. every enzinos release consists of a few tracks: classic techno/house re-edits and one lucky - dip. whether you are new to the scene or an old hand, you should find something to play with, as enzinos gives old favourites a new twist. dont let partying lead to paranoia, take it easy with a re-edit.

in the country mario & vidis come from cover version is a little bit of a curse word and arouses serious suspicions whenever mentioned. even the biggest pop names do half of their gigs and have half of their income just performing well-known songs and impersonating well-known international artists. but when the vocals of bon ivers >re: stacks< recorded by up and coming british singer songwriter james barbarossa mathe were sent their way they didnt have a slightest doubt. not an obvious track selection and a really unique vocal treatment inspired them for a cover version of a different kind. as yet another proof of superior quality the release comes with a remix from Âme. vinyl only and limited to 300 copies this one is a little bit special.

these redux releases are like buses, we dont hear anything for ages then they hit us with three killer eps in a row. following the grand corporation and machete savane comes the return of phoreski. we have not heard much from phoreski for a little while, but you will soon hear why when you put the needle to the record on these two new tracks. he has been busily building up his studio into an enviable aladdins den of vintage kit, wires and analogue recording equipment. all synths and vocals you hear on these tracks come from phoreski, no samples, no guests, no edits. he has been hinting at this raw, analogue authentic sound for a while, but these tracks showcase a producer at one with the machines. >brown biscuits< comes across like some lost italo/cosmic gem, but via the north east of england rather than the lakes of italy. >machines< flexes tight proto-house rhythms with some bass that will make mince meat of lesser club soundsystems whilst the feuding synth lines fight for attention. this is proper body music, play loud!

the a side arbitrary stakes out its intentions early with a solid groove and dubbed out stabs. a little vocal in the main breakdown increases the tension before it all kicks back in with a reassuring thud. on the flip galaxy high is equally deep but opts for some juno chords and soaring strings to bring it life. finally on lgb some 80s soul samples are worked in to a slightly tougher electronic jam.

monday 31st october, madhouse recordings will celebrate 5th birthday. we began in 2006 as record label and promotion company. since that time madhouse represents underground styles of electronic music in spain. until now 17 records was released: including tracks of sandy warez, ophidian, madhouse brothers, dj hammond, jason little, etc

the verwunschen ep got influenced by many deep house music, tech house, but also by electronic underground music, which was not made for the club. a mixture of this and organic instruments, which are typical for his music, made the music warm and melancholic, but the cutted vocals brought a little clubby atmosphere in the track. in the bonus track >bosporus< you hear the influence of berlin tech house music. trumpets were very popular at that time in berlin. the track was only made for the club. remixes from marlon hoffstadt and matthias kick were organised, who did their own interpretation and showed some other sides of the song.

xoom recordings is a new irish label run by matthew collins. its emphasis will be to release what matthew considers to be his vision of true house music and melodic techno through his own productions and other artists that inspire him and also share a similar vision.

definition of d is a little tribute to detroit, the city that influenced and later embraced my music in the mid/late 90s. this ep is an attemt to make music that is closer to the sound that i started out making but still different from the old detroit releases. high tech soul and is hopefully the key here. available on vinyl

incl 2 bit crew, lgg, volta cab and rosenhaft. 2 bit crews just cant seem. taking a sound heavily influenced by the underground house music / garage sound of the 90s, this is a bumping groove with a driving bassline and hatswith a simple female vocal sample that will stick in your brain. the second track takes things deeper with bastien carrara aka lgg with let me, smooth rhodes chords with a love sensation sample underpinned by raw beats and sub-bass. on the second side things get a little tougher. the third track is from a producer who has had many releases already on labels such as balance alliance, seven music and undertones, konstantyn isaev, better known as volta cab. his track what is underground focuses primarily on a killer bassline, retro synth stabs and a cheeky hip-hop sample used to great effect. finally is haim rosenhaft, a young producer from israel with 1992, his homage consists of an old school organ sound with heavy kicks and snares influenced by the sound of labels like umm and cleveland city in the 90s. again this will be a vinyl only release

a friend of us called max josef did this little soul house jam. and as all the gomma dj has been playing this at almost every gig and so many people have asked for it - we thought it might sense to give it a little vinyl release now. you can play this at a minimal party or a disco place. at 10, in the peaktime or at 5.
